I'm a tattoo apprentice now...so drawing is just the thing to do at work when I'm bored. I'm very excited about sharing my new work....I loved this site throughout school...it inspired me and made me want to share my work with others. But I'm back now.... and thanks to this site I now have a career in art. Tattooing.

   So I went down to the beach today to see the Elvis impersonators and entered the "Viva Elvis , Chalk the Walk Contest".
   We were given an Elvis album, a pail of sidewalk chalk, and a big chalk-outlined square on the boardwalk. I was lucky to recieve a portrait album, up close of him to work with and was so excited. People walking down the boardwak watched all the artists as they drew, I got there late but still had about an hour and a half to "create".
   So many people took pictures of me working, I felt like a little star. The comments were overwhelming, I just took everything to heart and was so flattered.
   After the judging they went over to the big stage in front of all the Elvis fans to announce the winners. I Won 1st place & $75.00! They gave me this big trophy too!! I'm just so thankful that my boyfriend and my mother were there to see it. I'll post pictures when I get them!
